1. Stand your Vizziq with four wheels in contact with the ground. Swing the side frames out so the tie rod with springs (number 3 on diagram) is positioned parallel, inside of front crossbar (number 2 on diagram), and non-pivoting locking feature (number 7 on diagram) is on the outside of the unit.
  2. Insert the detent pin (number 6 on diagram) through the non-pivoting locking feature (number 7 on diagram) located near center of front crossbar (number 2 on diagram). Squeeze the middle bars together for ease of insertion.
  3. Locate the quick connector found on each end of the tie rod (number 4 on diagram), slide outer sleeve back until socket is fully open (ensuring sleeve opening is facing downward by centering black lines), place open socket on ball stud (number 11 on diagram).
  4. Release outer sleeve and connector should lock onto ball stud (number 11 on diagram). If sleeve does not lock, rotate sleeve, or move side frame back and forth until it locks.
  5. Insert right (number 9 on diagram) and left (number 8 on diagram) into rear vertical tubes of frame (number 21 on diagram) by unscrewing handlebar adjustment knobs (number 14 on diagram). Position brake cables along frame and anchor with cable ties (number 16 on diagram).

*Do not cut or remove cable ties*
